Kazuhiro Kiyohara hit a pair of homers and drove in four runs and Koji Uehara scattered eight hits over the distance Thursday as the Yomiuri Giants snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 5-2 win over the Chunichi Dragons.
Kiyohara's solo shot in the second inning gave Yomiuri the lead at the Tokyo Dome and the first baseman's three-run clout in the fifth put the defending Central League champions up by five runs.
Uehara (5-1) struck out 12 in his second complete-game outing of the season.
