Taiwan's Huang Yu-Chen and Chihiro Nakajima shot 3-under-par 69s on Saturday to share the lead after two rounds of the 60 million yen Kosaido Ladies Golf Cup.

Nakajima, targeting her first win in nearly two years, closed birdie-par-birdie to lift her into a tie with Huang at 4-under 140 at the Chiba Kosaido Country Club as both players head into the final round with a two-shot margin over Aki Takamura and Tseng Hsui-Feng of Taiwan.

Nahoko Hattori (71) and Kaori Harada (73) are all another stroke back at 143.

Overnight leader Kumiko Hiyoshi, who fired a 69 on Friday, shot a 77 to tumble into a tie for 20th at 2 over.

Fujita hangs on

OARAI, Ibaraki Pref. (Kyodo) Hiroyuki Fujita shot an even-par 72 to hold on to his lead in the Diamond Cup Tournament on Saturday, while Toshimizu Izawa charged into contention after tying the course record with a third-round 64.

Fujita began feeling the pressure in pursuit of his first title in four years, making three birdies and as many bogeys on his way to a 9-under 207 total and a two-shot lead at the Oarai Golf Club in Ibaraki Prefecture.

Izawa rebounded from a first-round 77 to grab a share of second place with Eduardo Herrera of Colombia and little known Yuji Igarashi.
