Hiroyuki Shibata singled home the game-tying run and followup Kazuo Matsui hit an RBI double to bring home the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Seibu Lions beat the Daiei Hawks with a 3-2 victory at the Seibu Dome on Friday.
It was Seibu's fifth "sayonara" victory of the year.
Lions starter Daisuke Matsuzaka went the distance, allowing two runs on five hits -- including a solo homer to Hiroki Kokubo in the top of the ninth -- but his teammates came back in the bottom of the frame to grant him his sixth win.
