Hirofumi Ogawa drove home the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth as the Yokohama BayStars edged the Yomiuri Giants 3-2 at Yokohama Stadium on Saturday.
With the BayStars up 2-1 in the top of the eighth, Yoshinobu Takahashi drove home Hideki Matsui from second with a single to tie the game, but Ogawa turned the tables on the Giants with a sacrifice to right for the go-ahead run off Yomiuri reliever Tsuyoshi Jobe (3-2).
Takashi Saito pitched two innings in relief and got the win.
