Hiroki Kokubo blasted a "sayonara" solo homer in the bottom of the 10th inning and Hiroshi Shibahara hit four doubles as the Daiei Hawks defeated the Kintetsu Buffaloes 4-3 on Sunday at the Fukuoka Dome.
The Hawks grabbed back the top spot in the Pacific League standings, which they had given away to the Buffaloes on Saturday.
With Daiei up 3-2 in the top of the ninth inning, the Buffaloes jumped on Daiei stopper Rodney Pedraza, who took the mound at the start of the inning, to score the game-tying run.
