The joint North and South Korean table tennis team is set to arrive in Osaka on April 8, two weeks before the start of the world championships, according to reports in the South Korean press Thursday.

The joint Korean team, the first since the 1991 World Championships in Chiba, will reportedly hold a two-week training camp at a venue to be decided before the tournament opens at Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium and other city venues on April 23. The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) last Sunday approved the participation of an inter-Korean team for the tournament.
