Toshiya Fujita gave Iwata the lead in the 14th minute, and an own goal by Bluewings defender Yang Jong Hu in the 77th and a late goal from veteran striker Masashi Nakayama earned the 1999 champions all three points. Current J. League first-division leader Iwata will face Chinese side Shandong Luneng on Friday.
