-- Frankie Minoza of the Philippines birdied the final two holes of a 4-under-par 68 Thursday for a share of the first-round lead in the 100 million yen Dydo-Drinco Shizuoka Open. Minoza, playing most of his round at the Shizuoka Country Club before strong winds and rain disrupted play, carded four birdies without a bogey on the 6,897-yard Hamaoka course to tie Tomohiro Kondo, Koki Idoki and Eiji Mizoguchi for the clubhouse lead.
