Japan's Yugo Tsukita finished runnerup Saturday and teammate Yusuke Kitamura placed third behind Stephane Rochon of Canada in the men's dual moguls at a World Cup event.

Tsukita contested the final with Rochon on the Tae Satoya Mogul Course -- named after Japan's women's moguls champion at the 1998 Nagano Olympics -- at Iizuna Kogen, but failed to gain an upset win over last season's World Cup runnerup.

In the women's dual moguls, Satoya could only manage eighth place behind first-time World Cup winner Tami Bradley of Canada, while Japan's Aiko Uemura took fourth after losing in the third-place playoff.
