The Central League on Monday announced its complete schedule for the 2001 season with the defending CL champion Yomiuri Giants scheduled to play all of their games under floodlights for the first time, CL officials said.
The CL, which in December announced a 140-game schedule for the 2001 season starting March 30, also confirmed extra games to be played at neutral stadiums.
At the Sapporo Dome, Yomiuri will take on Chunichi in the first pro league three-game series to take place at a neutral stadium from June 26-29, while Miyazaki municipal stadium will host back-to-back games for the first time when the Yakult Swallows play the Hiroshima Carp on April 21-22.
