The Chunichi Dragons on Monday signed infielder Kazuyoshi Tatsunami to a new, 190 million yen contract, making him the most expensive player at the Central League club.
The 31-year-old Tatsunami earned a 40 million yen pay hike after surpassing the .300 mark for the first time in four seasons. Last year, he hit .303 with nine homers and 58 RBIs.
