The Seibu Lions on Tuesday announced the acquisition of Mexican pitcher Miguel Del Toro, who played for the San Francisco Giants last season.
The 28-year-old right-hander has a two-year major league career record of 2-0, with a 4.61 earned run average in 23 games.
Del Toro scored both of his wins in 2000 the season, when he made one start and eight relief appearances for the Giants.
