The Orix BlueWave concluded a deal with South Korea's Hanhwa Eagles on Monday for southpaw Koo Dae Sung that will see the Olympic ace pitching in Japan's Pacific League next season.

Koo, who threw a complete game in South Korea's 3-1 triumph over the Japanese national team in the bronze medal game at the Sydney Olympic Games in September, said he will do his best "to make a contribution to the team."

Details of the contract were not revealed.

Koo led the South Korean league with a 2.77 earned run average this past season. He has a 61-58 record with 151 saves and a 2.79 ERA in his seven-year career.
