Shonan Bellmare will be managed next season by former Nagoya boss Koji Tanaka, who will also have three new Colombian signings at his disposal, officials of the J. League Second Division club said Thursday.

Tanaka quit Nagoya Grampus Eight in April 1999 after falling out with Japan trio Shigeyoshi Mochizuki, Takashi Hirano and Go Oiwa.

Meanwhile, the J-2 side signed defender Everyl Palacios, midfielder Hector Salazar and striker Nestor Diaz. All have played for the Colombian national team.

FC Tokyo fine with manager

FC Tokyo will retain the services of manager Kiyoshi Okuma next year after an impressive first season in the top flight, officials of the J. League First Division club said Thursday. Okuma, 36, has been with the club since 1995.
