Libertadores Cup champion Boca Juniors head coach Carlos Bianchi on Wednesday evening expressed confidence that his team will put on a good show on its way to beating European Champions League winner Real Madrid in next Tuesday's Toyota Cup.
"This is a very important event for us and we are here for the first time in 22 years. It will be a good opportunity to showcase our style of play to the world," Bianchi said at a news conference at a Tokyo hotel after arriving in Japan with his Argentine team.
Boca Juniors last played in the Intercontinental Cup, the old name of the annual match pitting the top team from South America against the best in Europe, in 1977 and '78 and won the title in 1978.
