Japanese Olympic team member Akihiro Kasamatsu won the men's floor exercise and pommel horse Sunday, while China's Zhao Sheng won triple gold at the Chunichi Cup. Kasamatsu scored 9.675 points for his floor exercise to edge Japanese star Naoya Tsukahara into second and then recorded 9.775 to win the pommel horse for the fourth straight year at Nagoya Sports Complex.

Tsukahara won the men's vault, while Sydney Olympic teammate Yoshihiro Saito added the horizontal bar to the all-around title he captured on Saturday.

Zhao, meanwhile, edged Saito into second on the rings, parallel bars and horizontal bar on the final day of the two-day meet.

In the women's competition, 16-year-old Andrea Raducan, who was famously stripped of a Sydney Olympic gold medal after testing positive for banned substances contained in a cold medicine, triumphed on the uneven bars and on the beam.

Aya Manabe placed third in the vault and in the floor exercise for the highest finish among Japan's female gymnasts.
