New Zealand winger Jonah Lomu is looking forward to making his first appearance in front of Japanese fans in Friday's warmup against the Pacific Barbarians at Tokyo's Chichibunomiya Stadium before the All Blacks head to Europe for several tests. But the world-famous speedy winger said his side is aware that its opponent will provide a tough test.
"When you look at the caliber of players they have, we have to play our best to beat them. They've got the guys who have played for the All-Blacks before," said Lomu.
The Pacific Barbarians will feature former All-Blacks like scrumhalf Graeme Bachop, No. 8 Jamie Joseph and Blair Larsen, who all play for Japanese teams.
