(KYODO) The Kintetsu Buffaloes announced Thursday that they have signed a pair of foreign players for next season in a bid to get out of the Pacific League basement
The Buffaloes signed outfielder Freddy Garcia of the Dominican Republic, who has four years of experience in the major leagues, and American southpaw Will Flynt, who went 13-4 in the Mexican League this past season
Garcia, 28, spent the past season with the Boston Red Sox triple-A affiliate in Pawtucket, where he batted .262 with 24 homers and drove in 74 runs.
