Yuri Fudo produced a sparkling 6-under-par 66 Sunday to win the Sankyo Ladies Open on Sunday and become the first woman to earn in excess of 100 million yen in one season on the JLPGA tour.

Fudo made six birdies in a bogey-free journey over Akagi Golf Club's 6,398-yard par-72 layout for a 10-under final-round 206 to deny overnight leader Kasumi Fujii the first title of her career.

Fudo, whose win nets her 10.8 million yen for her sixth win of the season, rolled in a birdie on the 493-yard third hole and added three straight birdies on 11, 12 and 13 to snatch the lead from Fujii.

Fudo then added two more birdies while Fujii staged a fight back only to bogey the final hole and hand Fudo the victory.

This year's Japan Open winner Kaori Higo, Mineko Nasu, Kayoko Ikoma and Nahoko Hirao tied for third place four strokes back with 211.
