Pinch hitter Takaya Hayashi hit an RBI single in the seventh before Kenji Jojima belted a two-run homer in the eighth.
Daiei starter Brady Raggio (8-6) gave up four hits and one run over seven innings. Shuji Yoshida, Kenji Wakatabe and Rodney Pedraza combined on no-hitter for the rest of the way.
