Kenji Jojima doubled home Hiroki Kokubo with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning, leading the Daiei Hawks to a 5-4 triumph over the Nippon Ham Fighters on Tuesday at the Fukuoka Dome.
Daiei won its sixth straight game and grabbed sole possession of the Pacific League lead for the first time since Aug. 19.
With one out, a runner on third and the Hawks trailing 4-3 in the seventh, Kokubo singled home the game-tying run off Fighters reliever Noriyuki Takahashi. After Nobuhiko Matsunaka was retired, Jojima hit the go-ahead double to left.
