Kazuki Inoue belted a two-run homer in the seventh inning and Lee Jeong Bum added an insurance run with a solo shot in the eighth Sunday as the Chunichi Dragons came from behind to edge the Yomiuri Giants 5-3 at Tokyo Dome.
Chunichi's win gave the second-place Dragons the rubber game of the weekend series with the Giants and stalled Yomiuri's drive for the Central League pennant. Yomiuri still sits atop the CL standings, despite the loss, with a lead of 7 1/2 games.
Inoue's arching clout into the right field stands capped a three-run outburst for the Dragons in the seventh that erased a three-run homer by the Giants' Tomohiro Nioka in the second inning and saddled Koji Uehara (7-5) with the loss.
