Takanori Suzuki and Bobby Rose each hit two-run homers and combined for seven RBIs as the Yokohama BayStars edged the Central League-leading Yomiuri Giants 12-11 Thursday in an 11-homer slugfest at the Tokyo Dome.
Trailing the BayStars 12-5 in the seventh, Yomiuri scored two runs on solo home runs by Toshihisa Nishi -- who hit a solo shot earlier in the game -- and Akira Eto.
The Giants cut the lead to three in the eighth on Yoshinobu Takahashi's two-run dinger -- his second blast of the night -- and came within one run when Eto drilled his second homer, a two-run blast, in the ninth inning.
