J. League club Sanfrecce Hiroshima and manager Eddie Thomson have agreed to part company at the end of this season.
Thomson, the longest-serving manager in the league, said he felt the time had come to move on.
"I had a meeting with (general manager Kazuo) Imanishi and we agreed it's better if I move -- and it might be better for the club -- so we've come to mutual agreement that that's what's going to happen," Thomson said by telephone from Hiroshima.
