Tony Fernandez and Reggie Jefferson each connected for two-run homers to lift the Seibu Lions over the Pacific League-leading Daiei Hawks 6-2 at the Fukuoka Dome on Tuesday, narrowing Daiei's lead to 1 1/2 games.
Seibu snapped Daiei's winning streak at six.
Both homers came off Hawks starter Tomohiro Nagai (7-4), who allowed all six runs on eight hits over 6 1/3 innings and took the loss.
