Kintetsu lefty Katsuhiko Maekawa went the distance for the fourth time this season against the Seibu Lions on Saturday to lead the Buffaloes to a 5-2 triumph at the Osaka Dome.
Maekawa (6-10) limited the Lions to a pair of runs on six hits and pitched out of a bases-loaded jam in the fourth inning to notch his fifth win of the season against Seibu and knock the Pacific League front-runners out of first place.
