Takashi Yoshida drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th inning Wednesday as the Hanshin Tigers beat the Yomiuri Giants, who lead the Central League, with a 3-2 "sayonara" victory.
Yoshida's two-out hit off Masumi Kuwata (5-6) scored Tsuyoshi Shinjo from second at Koshien Stadium, stopping the Giants' four-game winning streak.
Hanshin reliever Minoru Kasai (2-3) rebounded from Tuesday's loss -- also in a 10-inning contest -- to get the win after pitching his way out of a two-on jam in the top of the 10th.
