Kazuhiro Kiyohara went 3-for-4 with four RBIs and notched his 400th career homer with a solo blast in the third inning as the Central League frontrunning Yomiuri Giants ripped the Hiroshima Carp 18-3 on Tuesday at Sapporo's Maruyama Stadium.
Playing in his 15th pro year, Kiyohara became the 13th player in Japanese pro ball history to reach the 400 mark when he belted a solo homer -- his third of the season -- off Hiroshima starter Ken Takahashi (3-5) to highlight Yomiuri's six-run third.
He added a three-run homer in a five-run seventh.
