Yoshinobu Takahashi belted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday to lift the Central League-leading Yomiuri Giants to a 6-5 "sayonara" victory over the Hanshin Tigers at the Tokyo Dome.
Toshihisa Nishi tied the game with a two-run blast in the seventh inning before Takahashi led off the ninth with a liner off reliever Shinobu Fukuhara (2-6) that just cleared the wall in right field.
