Takuro Ishii homered and Takanori Suzuki provided the game-winning single in the seventh inning Sunday as the Yokohama BayStars came from behind and notched their fourth straight win with a 2-1 victory over the Yomiuri Giants.
The victory gave the BayStars a sweep of their weekend series at home with the Central League leaders as they continue to dig out from a seven-game losing streak earlier this month.
Yokohama starter Hiroki Nomura spotted the Giants a one-run lead in the second inning, but Ishii came back with his seventh homer of the season in the bottom of the third to knot the score.
