Kida gets first save since return
George Arias belted a two-run homer in the fifth inning Saturday and Hidetaka Kawagoe went seven strong innings on the mound to lead the Orix BlueWave to a 6-1 victory over the Pacific League-leading Seibu Lions.
Arias broke a scoreless tie at the Seibu Dome with a blast into the outfield seats off Seibu starter Daisuke Matsuzaka (4-4), who took the loss after giving up five runs on seven hits over 8 1/3 innings.
