The Yomiuri Giants tried to bring a North American feel to the Tokyo Dome on Wednesday evening, asking their fans to leave the drums, trumpets and megaphones at home as they took on the Yokohama BayStars.
The tactic worked like a charm as the Giants cruised to an 11-0 victory.
While the BayStar fans in the left-field bleachers were relatively quiet for the first three innings, when Bobby Rose stepped to the plate in the top of the fourth, the chants started up.
