Seibu ace Fumiya Nishiguchi tossed a three-hitter for his fourth victory to lead the Lions past the Daiei Hawks 1-0 Thursday in a tight pitching duel at the Seibu Dome.
Nishiguchi walked two and struck out 10 for his second shutout of the season.
The only run of the game came in the bottom of the second inning, a solo clout off the bat of Ken Suzuki.
