Satoru Komiyama tossed a six-hit shutout for Yokohama on Wednesday at the Fukuoka Dome, lifting the BayStars over the Yomiuri Giants 1-0 for their first win against Yomiuri this season in eight tries. Komiyama struck out eight and walked none for his fourth win. Lefty Darrell May also fanned eight and allowed one run on six hits over eight innings in a losing effort.
Takuro Ishii drove home the only run of the game on a seventh-inning RBI single to left field.
