Norihiro Nakamura and Tuffy Rhodes both connected for solo homers Saturday as the Kintetsu Buffaloes pounded out 18 hits en route to a 12-7 victory over the Nippon Ham Fighters at Tokyo Dome.

Nakamura got the visitors rolling in the first inning with a blast off Nippon Ham starter Tsutomu Iwamoto and Rhodes capped a three-run seventh inning with his 10th homer of the season for the Buffaloes who have scored 31 runs in the last two games.

Kintetsu starter Kazuya Tabata (2-2) picked up the win despite giving up four runs on seven hits over five innings of work and Hiroshi Ishige survived a three-run homer to Michihiro Ogasawara in the ninth for his first save.
