Money leader Hidemichi Tanaka geared up for his second victory of the year Saturday, firing a third-round 67 to move into a tie for the lead in the Chunichi Crowns golf tournament.

Tanaka is the only player to break par in every round this week on the par-70 Nagoya Golf Club's Wago Course as he went 3-under following two straight 69s to share the lead with Mitsutaka Kusakabe at 5-under 205.

Lee Westwood of England also shot a 67 and will try to overcome a two-shot deficit in a Sunday threesome with the co-leaders.

"The key to winning on this course is to be patient. I kept playing very cautiously and suddenly found my name at the top," said Tanaka, who carded four birdies, including two straight on the opening holes, and one bogey.
