Chunichi center fielder Koichi Sekikawa singled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Dragons snapped a four-game losing skid with a come-from-behind "sayonara" 3-2 victory over the Hiroshima Carp on Thursday at the Nagoya Dome.
Trailing 2-0 in the ninth, Dave "Dingo" Nilsson doubled home two runs to tie the game. Still with none out and the bases loaded, Sekikawa nailed a single to center field off Hiroshima reliever Shintaro Yamasaki to bring home pinch-runner Masahiro Araki with the winning run.
Melvin Bunch, who tossed a no-hitter in his last start, scattered four hits and walked five over the distance for his third straight win.
