KASHIWA, Chiba Pref. -- J. League Division One debutant FC Tokyo's winning streak ended at three matches after losing to Kashiwa Reysol 3-2 in extra time on South Korea international Hong Myung Bo's controversial goal Saturday at Kashiwa-no-ha Stadium.
In a seesaw battle, Reysol went ahead in the 25th minute on Hideaki Kitajima's header. But FC Tokyo's Brazilian forward Amaral knocked in a Ryuji Fujiyama's fine cross with a low header in the 41st minute. Kashiwa went ahead when Satoru Asari's clearance attempt found the net in the 69th minute, but the visitors equalized again with Yukihiko Sato's tap-in from an Amaral pass in the 76th minute.
To start extra time, Reysol manager Akira Nishino shifted Hong from the backline to attacking midfield in an attempt to decide generate more offense at the risk of rather his backline.
