Japan will hold the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020. I think this news is not necessarily good for all Japanese people because the recovery in Fukushima from the tsunami disaster in 2011 hasn't been completed.
It will take a lot of money to hold the Olympics. I think we have to use money for the recovery in Fukushima more.
Some residents in Fukushima still can't go back to their own homes and must live in temporary housing because of the disaster.
We have to support them. For example, we can do this by raising funds and sending clothes, books and other goods to Fukushima.
I have an idea about this problem. Maybe Japan will get a lot of economic benefits during the Olympics, such as ticket sales, income from tourism and so on. Japan should use the benefits for the recovery in Fukushima. For example, we can use this money to build houses for residents of Fukushima.
We must never forget the people of Fukushima who suffered from the tsunami disaster. In the beginning, we raised funds for Fukushima and sent relief supplies, but have we kept it up? We have to continue supporting the residents of Fukushima.
We shouldn't think of the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020 as only something to be enjoyed. We have to think that the Olympics are a chance to support the people of Fukushima.
