I am very disappointed in the May 3 front-page Kyodo article "U.S. doctors hit Tokyo radiation limit for kids."
The story fails to point out that the organization mentioned (Physicians for Social Responsibility) is not merely a nonprofit group of medical experts but also an anti-nuclear interest group as clearly stated on its site.
There is nothing wrong with publishing their opinions, and I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with them, but in not stating the group's sentiments and simply representing it as an ordinary consortium of American doctors, the piece is nothing more than propaganda. The Japan Times should be ashamed of this.
