Regarding the Dec. 6 article "No Kadena switch for Futenma, Okada says": What does Foreign Minister Katsuya Okada mean when he says options (for relocating the U.S. Futenma air station in Okinawa) are running out and that the U.S. side thinks the time for negotiating is over?
This talk has been going on for more than a decade. The Okinawa government owns Okinawa Island and people need to step up and fight, because the air station does not belong there!
Why? Because there has been no resolution with regard to the innocent deaths of civilians from underground bombs. Where is the justice in that? Loved ones must be compensated for deaths caused by all military-related accidents.
