Regarding the Nov. 30 article "Tsuda's body arrives; Japanese recount terror": I am writing this from India. Here we have lost national pride, honor and, more importantly, a lot of lives. Only now a semblance of normality seems to be returning to Mumbai. I am saddened that Japan, too, has lost one of its own (businessman Hisashi Tsuda) in these terrible acts and glad that nine Japanese escaped unharmed and arrived home safely.

I just hope that the Japanese people come to view India not as a land where terror acts are commonplace but as a country of peaceful and understanding people. Compared to various international media reports, this article seemed mature and balanced. Kindly continue the trend. I hope the Japanese continue to think of India as a tourist destination and visit us.
