I would say that it is important to understand not only Peter Singer's arguments, but where those arguments lead him. For example, in a question-and-answer article published in Britain's Independent in 2006, Singer repeated his notorious stand on the killing of disabled newborns. Asked if he would kill a disabled baby, Singer responded, "Yes, if that was in the best interests of the baby and of the family as a whole." (lifesitenews.com/Idn/2006/sep/06091204.html)
True, one Christian might not have every answer for why things happen in the world, but we are not even able to fully understand why gravity works and yet people expect us to understand the thinking of the god of the universe.
