Asked what she would do if Iran carried out a nuclear attack on Israel, U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton replied: "If I'm president, we (would) attack Iran. . . . We would be able to totally obliterate them."
In his April 28 article, "A little too much help for Israel," Gwynne Dyer quotes this and goes on to say that the "United States has enough nuclear weapons to blast, irradiate, incinerate and obliterate all 75 million in Iran many times over."
This may be true, but if the U.S. is willing to repeat its blunders committed in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, it will lose its status as a nation that helps others, and will bring disaster to half of the world.
