Let China and India be, let them grow. The more broad-minded people and governments of India and China are not as likely to create the bias-based problems for foreigners working there as Japan's government and society have done.

By the time Japan's shrinking and aging population reaches the critical point where more workers are needed, no one will bother to visit Japan. In that situation, the Japanese government will try to make a more foreigner-friendly environment, but people will clearly know that Japan is making the moves only because it needs workers -- not for humane purposes.

Sadly it's my opinion that the Japanese do not think that people from outside should be treated as human beings. They consider themselves a super-nation compared to others. Very strange. Many other things can be said, but let's close here.
