It is self-evident that international peace is the foremost prerequisite for national security and prosperity. This is the common recognition of all advanced nations, but Japan, with regard to national interests.

The world, first of all, must be at peace if Japan is to achieve economic prosperity through the global market. Because only then will Japan be secure enough for its companies to go abroad to work in the world's marketplace.

Nevertheless, the Japanese are inclined to have nonsensical discussions, placing an equal emphasis on international peace, and their national security and prosperity in defiance of the due processes and the road maps they must follow. Their discussions are apt to be unrealistic and go nowhere, or are laborious but fruitless. All this makes me wonder if there is a more illogical people in the world than the Japanese. To get things done there must be order, without which you cannot achieve a target.
