As a Myanmar citizen, I would like to apologize to the citizens of Japan for the utterly wrong action of the government of Myanmar late last month. I am sure the regime did not know what it was doing, for it has been doing wrong after wrong for two decades now. It does not know the value of human life. I am sure the regime must suffer for what it has done to all of us, including Japanese video journalist Kenji Nagai. Retribution is inevitable whether we want it or not, as it is the law of nature.
I would like to reiterate that I and all of Myanmar's citizens sincerely give our condolences to Nagai's parents and other relatives. We are really ashamed of our government and will pray for Nagai's soul. May his soul fly to heaven!
