Professor Christopher Lingle fails the basic test. Anthropogenic influences cannot be proven by scientific debate -- they never will be. However, it is grossly irresponsible for nations to continue to add to atmospheric carbon dioxide as if it doesn't matter, because their actions just might matter a great deal. If you wait for proof and sit on the fence while the planet burns, your fence will catch fire.
