John Wocher's Aug. 8 letter, "Another quack therapy let loose," demonstrates Wocher's ignorance. (Wocher includes "kinesiology" in a list of alternative-medicine therapies that he suggests lack a scientific foundation.)

As a kinesiologist from the University of Waterloo (B.S. in kinesiology), I'd like to hear about his qualifications to even use the word kinesiology. He seems clueless. For a start to gathering background information about kinesiology, he should go to: http://www.ahs.uwaterloo.ca/kin/

The University of Waterloo in Canada, by the way, is a world-famous leader in training specialists in kinesiology, which is the scientific study of human muscular movements.
