SEOUL -- "If you've got it," as the saying goes, "flaunt it!" And Asia's "New Leaders" have got "the right stuff" in spades. But what to do with it?
That was the question that some 60 new Asian leaders from South Korea, Japan, China, India and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations -- drawn largely from the business world with a sprinkling of government officials and civil-society leaders -- grappled with last week in Seoul in a retreat sponsored by the World Economic Forum.
The New Asia Leaders initiative, designed to provide a forum for the discussion meaningful measures to advance Asian integration, began with a Blue House session with South Korean President Roh Moo Hyun, the newest Asian leader and a role model in his own right.
